Cyn Story Telling
Cyn and Bick
Bick - aka Chief

Cyn (aka Cynthia) is a St. Paul native who has been performing historical tours and ghost tours around the Twin cities since 1998. Cyn writes and directs all the tours for CynCity. Her book “Alvin Karpis and the Barker Gang in Minnesota” was released in 2020 and co-authored with fellow gangster historian Deborah Frethem. In 2011, Cyn and her husband Bick produced the documentary-style movie “Gangsterland.” She performs on stage, in short films and in commercials. In addition, she belongs to a writing group that produces jokes for nationally syndicated comic strips. She lives in suburban St. Paul with husband Bick and their overly dramatic cat Charlie.

Having spent quality time in Chicago and New York, Bick Smith is able to channel his “Inner-Gangster” for walking tours around Saint Paul.  Bick is a former TV anchor, reporter and producer who also wrote and directed the 2011 film “Gangsterland,” which chronicles the dark criminal past of Minnesota’s capital city.

Blake is a Twin Cities based actor, improvisor and tour guide. Since 2008, he has led tours around the Twin Cities on buses, vans, trolleys, electric bicycles and even Segways. Most recently, Blake spent ten years as a tour guide and performer at the Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul. In addition to leading tours, Blake performs regularly in several improv groups, teaches improv, and sings in a barbershop harmony chorus (No guarantee, however, that he will burst into song during the tour)

Lucinda (aka Sid Korpi) has been a comedic improv actor since the late 1980’s which is when she and Cyn met while performing in a sketch comedy group. More recently she appeared as a myriad of characters with the Murder Mystery Company and performed as a voice actor in various nostalgic-style radio plays with Conundrum Collective. She has starred in such B movies as “Attack of the Moon Zombies” and “House of Ghosts,” both of which are not intended for the lactose intolerant as they’re too cheesy.

Carin Leonard-Gorrill comes to CynCity Tours with four years of tour guide experience, a BA in Drama/Speech and lots of stage and screen time. Most recently, she played Gertrude in "Hamlet" and Lady Capulet in "Romeo and Juliet" with Classical Actors Ensemble. A mom of three, she also works as an Admin/Office Manager in downtown Mpls.

Mikey  did his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota, and later went on to get his MFA at Hamline University.  Neither of them become relevant in his life terribly often, but they were expensive and so he feels obligated to mention them.  Mikey performed with Comedysportz Twin Cities for many years before giving it up for a life of firefighting.  These days he’s retired from the fire service and enjoying the performing world which involves significantly less carrying of heavy things. Mikey and Cyn met during their ComedySportz days and then worked together several years doing the haunted bus tours with the Wabasha Street Caves. Mikey currently lives in the Northwest suburbs of Minneapolis with an unreasonable number of dogs.
