Ope! 140 Years of Winter Carnival Walking Tour shows off the fascinating history behind Saint Paul’s iconic wintertime festival…and more! Enjoy entertaining stories in historic buildings and among the ice sculptures about ice palaces, parades and unique sports events through the decades. (It was originally called The Saint Paul Winter Sports Carnival!) More than Vulcans and King Boreas, the Winter Carnival is about bouncing teams, jigsaw puzzles and hot dish contests! Learn all about Minnesota’s premiere wintertime festival during an easy stroll downtown lasting just under 1 hour. Space is limited! Be aware, there are stairs involved. $15 per person.
