Walking Gangster Tour of downtown

Take a stroll back to the dirty 30’s to find out why St. Paul rolled out the red carpet for infamous gangsters like John Dillinger, Babyface Nelson, Alvin “Creepy” Karpis, the Barker Brothers, Edna Murray “the Kissing Bandit” and many more! See the sites where the gangsters hung out while hearing their fascinating tales told by one of our entertaining Gangster Guides. This walking tour is approximately 90 minutes long, covering a distance of about 1 mile.

Our entertaining Ghost Guides will tell you thrilling tales of ghostly hauntings, designed to give you a bit of a tingle while learning a bit of history too. You will also take in the beautiful architecture of Summit Ave which has the distinction of being the largest collection of preserved Victorian homes on one street in the United States! This walking tour is approximately 90 minutes long, covering a distance of about 1.3 miles.  We are not providing public tours at this time. Contact us for a private tour.

Zoom into a Virtual Gangster Tour of St. Paul’s shady history from the comfort of your own home! Our entertaining guide will take you virtually through the city with photos and film clips to show where infamous gangsters like John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Alvin “Creepy” Karpis, the Barker bothers and more lived and partied in the capitol city. Find out why these bank robbers and kidnappers all came to St. Paul and how the system that protected them came to an end. You can use the Zoom chat to ask questions of your guide. The tour is approximately one hour with a 15 minute question and answer time afterward. We are not providing public tours at this time. Contact us for a private tour.
